Agritourism has long been considered a good way for animal agriculture to counter activist distortions of how they raise their animals.

Fair Oaks Farms, located near Fair Oaks, Indiana, has been showing school children and tourists how milk is made for the past 10 years. Last August, partnering with hog producer Belstra Milling Co., the agritourism destination added the Fair Oaks Pig Adventure.

In addition to letting hundreds of tourists a day view the live operations of an open sow housing sow farm, along with museum-quality educational displays, Belstra Milling Co. employees are making videos to explain their daily operations to a broader audience.
