 The USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has updated its export library for China with new requirements for U.S. pork and pork products.

Products presented for export to China on or after July 1 must test negative for ractopamine through either the Ractopamine Residue Program or the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) Never Fed Beta Agonist Program.

China remained the third largest export market for U.S. pork products during the January-April, 2014 period.
