Export sales for U.S. corn, soybeans and wheat in USDA's weekly export report on Thursday were down from the previous week, while soymeal sales topped expectations.

The report showed 3.5 million bushels of old-crop soybeans and 37.1  million of new crop were sold, with China taking most of the new crop.
