The 9th annual Eastern Triangle Farm Tour, sponsored by the Carolina Farm Stewardship Association and Whole Foods Market, will give participants a behind-the-scenes look at 27 sustainable farms in Durham, Wake, Franklin, Granville and Person counties – including 9 incredible new farms.

This self-guided driving tour happens Saturday and Sunday, September 20-21, 1-5 PM both days.  "Wheather you hope to see cute animals, buy fresh-as-it-gets produce and meat, learn gardening and homesteading skills, or just create unforgettable memories while visiting some of the prettiest acreage in our region, the Eastern Triangle Farm Tour has something to offer you,” says tour coordinator, Leah Joyner.  The tour features urban farms, a goat cheese dairy, lots of friendly Animal Welfare Approved livestock and gorgeous late-summer, organic vegetables, plus honeybee hives, a petting zoo, hayrides, chicken tractors, and more!
