The Government Accountability Office in a report released publicly this week questions the U.S. EPA's processes in calculating the economic impacts of new regulations.

The GAO report, EPA Should Improve Adherence to Guidance for Selected Elements of Regulatory Impact Analyses, finds that in studying seven RIAs, the information provided by the EPA was not always clear.
