Sanderson Farms Inc. has appointed Mike Tamimi to the post of corporate production manager in addition to promoting two other executives in its live production division.

The company also said that Heath Parker has been named division manager of its Adel Production division in Adel, Ga. – succeeding Tamimi – and it appointed Tommy Robertson to serve as division manager at its Kinston, N.C., production facility.
Tamimi has been division manager at Adel since 2009, having joined Sanderson from Pilgrim’s Pride Corp. in 2008. In his new position, Tamimi will oversee the company’s production divisions and programs to help Sanderson achieve its production goals, according to the company. Parker joined Sanderson in 2007 as a flock supervisor and has held a variety of positions in the company. Robertson will serve in a capacity similar to Tamimi, having joined the company in 2009.
