Thom Tillis Asks Kay Hagan to Agree to More Debates (Thom Tillis Campaign)

Today, Thom Tillis sent a letter to Senator Kay Hagan encouraging her to accept the debate invitation from TWC News, The Raleigh News & Observer, and The Charlotte Observer, and to also reconsider her position on the five other debate invitations from other major media outlets and professional organizations she has previously declined.

Editor's Note:  The North Carolina Agribusiness Council held its US Senate Candidate's Forum on September 12th in Greensboro.  This is a much anticipated event every election year since it is the ONLY candidates forum devoted solely to issues of significant importance to NC's #1 industry - Agribusiness.  Incumbent candidate US Senator Kay Hagan (D) participated in the NCAg Candidates Forum answering 7 questions and spending nearly 2 hours with AgLeaders from across North Carolina - an industry that drives the economy of NC to the tune of $77 billion and employs 20% of North Carolinians. Challenger candidate Thom Tillis (R) declined to participate.
