AgCarolina Farm Credit, along with Carolina and Cape Fear Farm Credit, is partnering with Our State magazine to hold an online food drive to benefit North Carolina food banks.  The online food drive began on September 15 and will run through October 31.

Monetary donations can be made at ourstate.com/lending-a-hand.  Visitors to the site may enter to win one of three $200 Food Lion gift cards for their family’s Thanksgiving dinner. All donations will go to Feeding America, benefiting local N.C. food banks.

“For the past 98 years, Farm Credit has had an important mission – to finance farmers who are the backbone of the agriculture industry,” said AgCarolina CEO, Dave Corum.  “We are pleased to partner with Our State magazine in supporting the work of the NC food banks to help those who are in need of food and nutrition, and support the industry we serve.”
