The oil industry is focusing on America's Atlantic coast as a coming energy hub.
American Petroleum Institute President Jack Gerard said Thursday at an energy conference in Wilmington that East Coast oil and gas drilling could increase the country's energy independence and dissolve the OPEC global oil price cartel.
