The N.C. Pecan Growers Association will sponsor Pecan Day at the State Farmers Market. Shoppers can enjoy free samples of a pecan dessert prepared by the State Farmers Market Restaurant during the celebration. Plenty of N.C. pecans will be available for purchase from local farmers, along with pecan pies, cakes and other treats from market vendors.

The State Farmers Market offers the best of agricultural products grown, raised,caught or made in North Carolina. N.C. Christmas trees, poinsettias, wreaths and garland are now available for purchase. Shoppers also can find seasonal produce from local farms, trees and shrubs for fall planting, fresh meats and seafood, as well as specialty products and gifts for all occasions.
