Chairwoman Stabenow to convene oversight hearing on CFTC’s effective enforcement activities

Senator Debbie Stabenow, Chairwoman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry, will convene a Committee hearing on December 10, 2014 at 10:00am in room 328A Russell Senate Office Building. The hearing, The Commodity Futures Trading Commission: Effective Enforcement and the Future of Derivatives Regulation, will examine the Commission’s recent activities, what resources the Commission will need in order to continue to effectively regulate derivatives in the future, and how the Commission plans to complete its responsibilities under the Dodd-Frank Act.

The hearing, Effective Enforcement and the Future of Derivatives Regulation, will convene on December 10, 2014 at 10:00am in room 328A Russell Senate Office Building. A live webcast of the hearing can be viewed on the Committee’s website at http://ag.senate.gov.
