FSIS is publishing the next quarterly report covering July-September 2014 to summarize the chemical residue results for the U.S. National Residue Program (NRP) for meat, poultry and egg products. While this report follows the same format as previous quarterly reports, a new figure has been added in the Appendix section to provide information on the most frequently identified antibiotics in Bob veal and dairy cow samples reported out as violations. These NRP quarterly reports are an opportunity to provide stakeholders and the public timely information on chemical residues in FSIS-regulated meat, poultry and egg products. This information also complements other agency residue information made public, such as the Residue Repeat Violator list, the NRP sampling plan (Blue Book), and the NRP Residue Sample Results (a.k.a FSIS Red Book).
