Three incumbents have been re-elected to the AgCarolina Farm Credit Board of Directors by the cooperative’s voting stockholders.   Ellis W. Taylor of Roanoke Rapids was elected to Region 2 (serving Franklin, Warren, and Halifax counties); Paul A. Drake of Pinetops was elected to Region 6 (serving Edgecombe and Nash counties); and Cliff Keel, III of Robersonville was elected to Region 7 (serving Pitt and Martin counties).

AgCarolina’s Board of Directors is made up of 10 stockholder-elected directors and two outside appointed directors.  Each serves a four-year term.

“Our customers having a voice in the election of our board of directors is a prime benefit of belonging to a cooperative,” said Audie Murphy, AgCarolina board chairman, and a grain, peanut, and turkey producer from Greene County.
