New NC Pork Council directors announced

NCPC announces the election of eight directors for three-year terms starting in February 2015 to the NCPC board. Below is a brief introduction of each newly-elected board member. To learn more about them you can click on their name.

District 1:  
Eddie Johnson returns to the board to serve a second term. Eddie farms in Elkin as the Double E Farms.

District 2:  
Robin Lackey has been elected to serve in District 2. She has been in agriculture most of her life. Robin's farm is Beaver Creek Farm located in Hurdle Mills.

District 6:
Jim Lynch has been elected to serve a second term. Jim is employed by Maxwell Foods, LLC and currently holds the position as the Sow Production Manager.

Dennis Waller returns to the board to serve a second term. Dennis owns and operates Waller Farms, Inc. in Mount Olive.

District 7:
Brian Kennedy was elected to serve his first term on the NCPC board. Brian and his family own and operate Cabin Farm and Potters Hill Farm. Brian is also a finishing production manager at Prestage Farms, Inc..

Louis Howard will also be serving his first term. Louis owns and runs Maple Run Farms, Inc. in Kenansville.

Stephen Williamson, Jr. returns to the board to serve a second term. Stephen farms in the Kenansville area with his family on Earth Right Farms, Inc..

Associate:
Gene Nemechek has been elected to serve as the Associate representative. He is currently employed as a veterinarian with Zoetis. Gene has previously served on the NCPC board.
