On Thursday, March 5, at 10:30- 2:00 pm in the O.P. Owens Agricultural Center, located at 455 Caton Road in Lumberton, a Soil Health and Cover Crop Workshop will be offered to landowners who pre-register by February 27.

Sign-in begins at 10:15 am. Guest speakers include, David Lamm, USDA-NRCS National Soil Health Team Leader, and Russell Hendrick, farmer and soil health advocate. There will also be a cover crop farm visit for attendees. Pre-Registration for this event is required by February 27, 2015.
