The Agricultural Development and Farmland Preservation Trust Fund Advisory Committee will meet by conference call to receive updates on budget and progress reports pertaining to grants being administered. A review of the next grant cycle’s request for proposals is also on the agenda, as well as an update on the agriculture/military partnership.

The committee advises the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services on the prioritization and allocation of funds, the development of criteria for awarding funds, program planning, and other areas for the growth and development of family farms in North Carolina.
