There are a lot of small farms in the area, but few restaurants and stores sell their products. A project at Elon University aims to change that. "We’re looking to build an integrated network for farmers and consumers so more people have access to local food, and more farmers have more market access and a wider selection of ways to access markets,” said Janet MacFall, associate professor of environmental studies and biology at Elon University.
