Maybe the third time will be the charm.

The N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services has rescheduled its Food Business Conference in Burlington for April 7. The conference was postponed twice because of winter weather.

The event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Alamance Cooperative Extension office, 209-C N. Graham-Hopedale Road in Burlington.

Titled “To Market, To Market,” the conference will include presentations on product promotion, market selection and building customer loyalty.

Registration is open for existing food businesses. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Registration deadline is March 26. The cost is $40. People who previously registered for the workshop do not need to register again.

The agenda and registration form are available online at www.ncagr.gov/markets/agribiz/. For more information, contact Annette Dunlap at 919-707-3117 or annette.dunlap@ncagr.gov.
