Farmers, agribusiness professionals and others are coming to Raleigh March 18 to celebrate North Carolina Ag Awareness Day. Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler wants to see agriculture and agribusiness become a $100 billion industry in the near future. The current economic impact is $78 billion. Activities will include visits with legislators and a rally on the Capitol Grounds featuring state leaders.

Ag Awareness Day Events 9 a.m. Welcome Center opens in Kerr Scott Building at the N.C. State Fairgrounds. Shuttles to General Assembly begin.
