The Agricultural Development and Farmland Preservation Trust Fund Advisory Committee will meet by conference call to review Cycle VIII Military Associated requests. The trust fund has $1 million in nonrecurring funding to match federal funds for the purchase of development rights from agricultural operations located near military bases in the state.

The public may listen to the conference call in the Hall of Fame Room at the Agriculture Building, 2 W. Edenton St., Raleigh.

The ADFP Trust Fund Advisory Committee advises the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services on the prioritization and allocation of funds, the development of criteria for awarding funds, program planning, and other areas for the growth and development of family farms in North Carolina.
