Hog futures continue to falter on an abundance of supply

Lean-hog futures settled lower, Wednesday, as Pork production continues to climb above year-ago levels. The volume of pork available to domestic and export buyers has increased by as much as 9% to 11% in the past month, pushing prices for hams, bellies and chops to the lowest levels in around five years.
