At the 3 livestock auctions held Monday at Canton, Turnersburg, and Siler City a total of 1,843 cattle and 41 goats were sold.  Slaughter cows were mostly $1.00 to $4.00 lower, feeder steers were mixed, and heifers were mostly higher when compared to the previous week.
