Annoucement of first recipients of Youth Livestock Scholarships Sat. at the Got to Be NC Festival

Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler will announce the first recipients of N.C. State Fair Youth Livestock Scholarships prior to the daily Got to Be NC Festival tractor parade.

State Fairgrounds, Raleigh

The N.C. State Fair Youth Livestock Scholarship Program was created in 2014 with support of sponsors of the annual State Fair Junior Livestock Sale of Champions. High school seniors and students enrolled in universities, community colleges and technical schools that have exhibited animals in the N.C. State Fair junior livestock shows were eligible to apply. Each of the 24 recipients will receive $2,000, for a total of $48,000 in scholarships.
