Kansas City Sausage to open plant in Sampson County; 177 jobs to be created

Cumberland County officials have helped Kansas City Sausage LLC partner with swine powerhouse Smithfield Foods Inc. to open a sausage production plant that will create 177 jobs in Sampson County, officials announced Tuesday.
