Mary:    I’m Mary Walden with economist MW welcoming you to the economic perspective.  Today’s program asks if we will see the end of manufactured imports.  Mike, manufacturing employment in both the US and North Carolina has trended downward in recent decades as factories have moved to countries with lower cost labor.  Is there anything on the horizon that could turn this around?
