NC Republicans hold convention, hear from president wannabes

North Carolina Republicans are gathering to get revved up for next year's big elections and to hear from a few national politicians who want to be president. The state GOP begins its biennial convention Friday in downtown Raleigh. The three-day event includes hundreds of delegates performing usual party business, including Saturday's election of a successor to Chairman Claude Pope.
