Next week in the House: Commodity End-User Relief Act and COOL

Text of StoryOn Tuesday, June 9, the House will take up H.R. 2289, the Commodity End-User Relief Act, which would ensure that businesses can effectively use the derivatives market to manage their risk. The House will also consider H.R. 2394, the National Forest Foundation Reauthorization Act, and H.R. 2051, the Mandatory Price Reporting Act, and H.R. 2088, the U.S. Grain Standards Act Reauthorization Act.

On Wednesday, June 10, the House will take up H.R. 2393, the Country of Origin Labeling Amendments Act, which is essential to bring the U.S. into compliance with WTO rules and prevent devastating economic retaliation by Canada and Mexico.
