Stay braced for East Coast avian flu fly-in

Experts aren't sure why Pennsylvania and neighboring states have been spared so far in the outbreak of highly pathogenic H5N2 avian influenza. Migrating birds have carried it up all of the major flyways – except the Atlantic. And it has caused massive poultry losses – nearly 50 million birds in the Midwest. USDA has already confirmed that the outbreak is the worst in U.S. history.
