Protesters walk out of Walnut Cove town meeting

The day after a drilling crew contracted by the state geologists started collecting samples on public land to assess the Dan River basin for the presence shale gas, some of the Walnut Cove commissioners tried to defend their vote in April to allow the drill project – after getting another earful.
