The great June heat wave appears to be behind us, but not without consequences.  While much of the southeast struggled through excessive heat and lack of moisture, the Coastal Plain had the opposite problem.  Graham Boyd, Executive Vice President of the Tobacco Growers Association of North Carolina says the eastern tobacco crop is waterlogged:
