An oasis of fresh, healthy food has opened up for local families on SNAP, who can get a great deal on locally-grown produce to stretch budgets. The Mills River Farmers Market hopes to bring in more SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) recipients using EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer) cards with a two-for-one offer this season.
