North Carolina’s latest crop progress report for conditions through Sunday, July 12th, states there were 6.3 days suitable for field work across the Tar Heel State, compared to 5.5 last week.  Topsoil moisture is rated at 4% very short, 35% short, 53% average and 8% surplus.
