North Carolina’s abnormally dry conditions increase slightly

North Carolina’s abnormally dry conditions increased slightly this week according to the latest drought monitor released by the National Drought Mitigation Center.  The state’s abnormally dry conditions increased from just over 37% last week to 38.71% this week, but the first phase of drought, moderate, remained the same at 15.86%.
