NC State University's Brewery in the Pilot Plant is located in Schaub Hall on the NC State University campus in Raleigh, N.C. For the past 5 years Dr. John Sheppard, with the NC State University Department of Food/Bioprocessing and Nutrition Sciences, has been making beer as part of research at the college, and they make their own yeast for the beers, some of which come from insects like bees.
