Farmers’ market season is at its peak and hundreds of Catawba County residents are taking advantage of the fresh, local produce. One of the area’s four markets – the Catawba County Public Health farmers market – was developed in 2013 to provide fresh local produce to a wider variety of people, including those with EBT and WIC farmers market vouchers.
