Egg shortage driving up prices in N.C.

If a chicken is too sick to flap its wings in Iowa, egg buyers feel it in North Carolina. An avian influenza outbreak in the Midwest has been forcing farmers to kill their flocks, causing an egg shortage that has pushed prices up across the nation.
