Recently we criticized U.S. Rep. Mark Meadows for grandstanding with his resolution to oust House Speaker Boehner. We stated he should instead focus on issues of greater importance to Western North Carolina. Meadows is doing that in strongly supporting renewed funding for the Land and Water Conservation Fund.
