Sugarcane aphid continues to move across the southeast

As we mentioned last week, a new pest, sugarcane aphid has come to the southeast and is infesting grain sorghum.  The movement this pest can make in a week is astonishing, and NC State Entomologist Dr. Dominic Reisig says the aphid is now in the central and eastern part of North Carolina:
