The N.C. Department of Environment and Natural Resources launched an online blog earlier this month devoted to the agency’s news and views on national and state issues affecting the environment. 

The Environmentally Speaking blog resides in the middle of DENR’s website home page, www.ncdenr.gov. It was started by the agency’s public affairs staff to keep readers informed about hot topics such as energy, air quality, coal ash and other environmental issues that affect North Carolinians.   

Environmentally Speaking will be updated regularly to give people a more immediate way to learn about important environmental issues.
