Baker Farms in Rockingham County, NC was recently awarded NC’s 2015 Outstanding Conservation Farm Family Award by the NC Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts. Baker Farms is a third generation tobacco farm dating back to the ownership of Mr. R.A. Baker, father of current owner R.A. Baker, Jr. (Robert).
