For Historic Rural Hill in Huntersville, this summer's lack of rain means a late start to one of their biggest fundraising events. Executive Director Jeff Fissel said "You need about an inch of rain a week, which is typically what you get, and this year we didn't. We got about 2.5 inches all summer.”
