Republicans promised a legislative response to the new ozone standards the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released Thursday. Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.), chairman of the Environment and Public Works Committee, said he “will be pursuing legislation” to combat the rules in his committee.
