Recent rains destroy some apple crops

Heavy rains have already begun destroying mountain apple crops and the threat of more severe weather could mean even more damage. Leslie Lancaster, owner of Grandad’s Apples in Henderson County, says too much rain recently has already seeped into them causing them to expand and crack.
