Tomorrow, the Sampson County Extension Office will honor George Upton by lowering flags at 55 Agriculture Place to half staff.  This is a request of the county commissioners, to honor a man who served Sampson County and North Carolina through the Cooperative Extension Service for 52 years.   The flags will be raised after the memorial service for George, on Saturday, 2pm, at First UMC in Clinton.  Special thanks to the Sampson County commissioners for honoring the man who worked so very hard to promote Extension, the cattle industry, and all agriculture across our great county and state.
