A powerful state land conservation leader showed the Guilford County Board of Commissioners on Thursday that he isn’t going away. Eddie Bridges, the executive director of the North Carolina Wildlife Habitat Foundation, asked the commissioners to donate the Guilford County Prison Farm to create a carefully planned mix of uses from open space to sophisticated agricultural research.
