Three-quarters of NC counties declared disaster area

As anticipated, USDA and the White House released county disaster declarations for the southeast after the summer’s drought conditions and October’s heavy rains.  Bob Etheridge, State Director for USDA’s Farm Service Agency for the state of North Carolina says three-quarters of North Carolina is affected in one way or the other:
