EPA extends comment period for proposed pesticide applicator certification rule

Text of StoryEPA announced a 30 day extension to the public comment period on the proposed changes to the certification rule, which proposes new standards for pesticide applicators certified to apply restricted use pesticides (RUPs). The comment period now closes on December 23, 2015. More information about the proposed rule is available here. Comments can be submitted via www.regulations.gov under docket number EPA-HQ-OPP-2011-0183.
