Christmas trees for capitol cut down at Avery County farm

North Carolina's state Christmas trees are on their way to the capitol in Raleigh. WBTV-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1MFLp4J ) the 13-foot Frasier Fir for the state Capitol Building was picked out Wednesday by tree grower Larry Smith in Newland in the mountains in Avery County.
