COOL tariffs underscores need for COOL repeal

The World Trade Organization Monday authorized just more than $1 billion in tariffs that Mexico and Canada can place on U.S. goods. The tariffs are in response to the U.S. Country of Origin Labeling law and the only prevention of the tariffs is to repeal the law, according to the National Pork Producers Council.
