FDA weighs new rules on raw milk cheese-making

In November, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration closed its comment period on a fact-finding mission centered around food safety risks of cheeses made from unpasteurized milk. The agency is considering "potential intervention measures to reduce the risk of foodborne illness" from raw milk cheeses.
